BREEDS
The American Kennel Club provides a wealth of information about dog breeds, health concerns, competition opportunities, and dog ownership.
The Lost Coast Kennel Club promotes pure bred dogs on the North Coast of California, providing information and competition and fun forums for working with dogs.

AGILITY
Many HumDOG dogs and their owners are involved in the sport of Agility, both in training and competition.
In addition to AKC sanctioned events for pure bred dogs, there are agility events for mixed breeds. Canine Performance Events (CPE) and the North American Dog Agility Council (NADAC) websites provide information about those those organizations and the events they offer.
